Graduation Analysis: 2.4% more students graduated from Milton Public Schools District in 2022-23 school year

Milton Public Schools District had a 96.4% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 2.4% higher than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 265 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 266 the year before.

Milton Public Schools District and Springfield International Charter District had the 48th highest graduation rate in the state.

Milton Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Norfolk County and has a main office in Milton.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
