On Tuesday, April 1, former Canton High School standout Mathew Pigeon’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Milwaukee Panthers.
The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 12:05 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Illinois State Redbirds.
