Water Main Break Repairs Scheduled for Tonight- Jan. 18th
The West Street Extension has a large 12-inch water main break at the intersection at Warren Street. The DPW has been working on this break since earlier yesterday. The pipe is broken at the "T" section and will need to be replaced. They will cut and remove the old "T" and replace it with all new parts. This work will be done TONIGHT - Jan. 18th to minimize the disruption. There will be several homes and businesses that will be affected. On Mazzeo Drive, from Mojitos to just past West Street Extension and from the West Street Extension to Skyview Road will be shut down. Work will begin at 8pm and the water will be shut off at 10pm. It will remain off until work is complete but should be done by morning. If you live in the area you may experience a loss of water or discolored water. Please run cold water in the bathtub after the repairs are done to clear your water line. Thank you.
