Town Manager Brian Howard, Director of Veterans’ Services Kevin J. Cook, and the Randolph Veterans’ Council are proud to announce the Town of Randolph Memorial Day Weekend Ceremonies for May 2022. The public is invited to participate in our remembrance of those who died in military service to our Town and Nation. All ceremonies will be outside and we ask all who attend to practice proper social distancing.
Flags and flowers will be planted on Veteran’s graves at St. Mary’s & Central Cemetery on Thursday May 26th 2022 from 08:00 – 12:00 by residents, students from Randolph Public Schools, Recruits from the Randolph Police Academy, along with Sailors from the USS Constitution who have volunteered to be part of our Town’s remembrance of our fallen Veterans. The public is welcome to assist us in honoring our fallen.
On Sunday May 29th, there will be a Veterans Sunday Service at the 1st Congregational Church UCC at 1 South Main Street at 10:00 a.m. A ceremony will be held at Oakland Cemetery at 12:00 pm and then followed up with a ceremony at Lindwood Memorial Park (490 North Street) at 1:00 p.m. in remembrance of our Jewish Veterans.
On Monday, May 30th, we will conduct our Memorial Day Ceremonies. All are welcome to join us and remember all our fallen.
8:30 a.m. Randolph Elks will have a ceremony at the Memorial in front of Town Hall.
9:00 a.m. - Town of Randolph & Veterans Council Ceremony at the War Memorial – Featured speaker is US Army Colonel Patrick McCarthy. Colonel McCarthy has numerous operational and combat tours, including two tours to Kosovo, two tours to Iraq, a tour to Qatar and Syria, and supported named operations on the continent of Africa. He is a graduate of Virginia State University and the University of Kansas; his professional military education includes graduation from the US Army Command and General Staff College and the United States Navy War College
Upon conclusion of the ceremonies in Crawford Square, all units will form up to march down to St Mary’s and Central Cemetery down North Street.

10:45 a.m. Ceremonies held at St Mary’s Cemetery (Time is approximate)
Upon conclusion of ceremonies, all units will march to the Zaputus Ice Arena parking lot and depart from there to AMVETS Post 51 on AMVETS Lane for BBQ along with refreshments.
