Savannah Blair of Northeastern University was named Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Track Athlete of the Week on Apr. 14 following her recent achievements at the Miami Hurricane Invitational.

Blair’s recognition comes after she won the 100-meter race in Miami with a time of 11.47 seconds, which is currently the second-fastest in the conference this season. She also finished second in the 200-meter event, clocking a time of 23.52 seconds, now ranked as the top mark within the CAA.

Blair is originally from Ontario, Canada and has been an important member of Northeastern’s track and field team this season.

The award highlights Blair’s strong performances and her impact on both her team and conference standings.

Looking ahead, Blair will aim to continue her success as Northeastern prepares for upcoming competitions.
