Patriots and Jets release updated Week 17 injury reports

The New England Patriots and the New York Jets have released their injury reports ahead of their upcoming Week 17 matchup scheduled for Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

For the Patriots, several players did not participate in practice. These include wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and guard Jared Wilson, both listed under concussion protocol. Cornerback Carlton Davis III and tight end CJ Dippre missed practice due to illness. Wide receiver Mack Hollins is sidelined with an abdomen injury, linebacker Harold Landry has a knee issue, linebacker Robert Spillane is dealing with an ankle injury, and defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga is out with a foot problem.

Limited participation from the Patriots included wide receiver DeMario Douglas (hamstring), running back TreVeyon Henderson (concussion protocol), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (ankle), tackle Morgan Moses (knee), tackle Thayer Munford Jr. (knee), defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle), and cornerback Charles Woods (foot). No players were listed as full participants.

On the Jets’ side, quarterback Justin Fields did not take part in practice due to a knee injury. Other non-participants included linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (neck), defensive linemen Will McDonald IV (knee) and Jay Tufele (foot), and tight end Mason Taylor (neck).

Jets players who participated on a limited basis were defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (knee) and quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee). Defensive lineman Eric Watts was a full participant after being in concussion protocol.

Bold text on the report indicates changes from the previous day’s update. According to team definitions, “Did Not Participate” means no involvement in practice, “Limited Participation” indicates less than 100% of normal repetitions, and “Full Participation” means taking all normal reps. Game status definitions clarify that “Out” signifies a player will not play; “Doubtful” suggests it is unlikely they will play; and “Questionable” means it is uncertain whether they will play.
