For the Patriots, several players did not participate in practice. These include wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and guard Jared Wilson, both listed under concussion protocol. Cornerback Carlton Davis III and tight end CJ Dippre missed practice due to illness. On the Jets’ side, quarterback Justin Fields did not take part in practice due to a knee injury. Other non-participants included linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (neck), defensive linemen Will McDonald IV (knee) and Jay Tufele (foot), and tight end Mason Taylor (neck).
Jets players who participated on a limited basis were defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (knee) and quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee). Defensive lineman Eric Watts was a full participant after being in concussion protocol.
Bold text on the report indicates changes from the previous day’s update. According to team definitions, “Did Not Participate” means no involvement in practice, “Limited Participation” indicates less than 100% of normal repetitions, and “Full Participation” means taking all normal reps.
