The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers have released their injury reports ahead of their upcoming game. The reports detail player injuries and levels of participation in practice sessions on January 7 and 8, 2026.

For the Patriots, several players did not participate in Thursday’s practice due to illness or injury. Center Garrett Bradbury, tackle Vederian Lowe, defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga, and tackle Thayer Munford Jr. were absent. Limited participants included cornerback Alex Austin (wrist), wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring), linebacker Harold Landry (knee), and guard Jared Wilson (concussion protocol). Full participants were linebacker Jack Gibbens (elbow), tight end Hunter Henry (rest), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (illness), tackle Morgan Moses (illness), and linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle).

On Wednesday, Bradbury, Jennings, Lowe, Moses, and Tonga did not participate due to various illnesses or injuries. Limited participation was reported for Austin, Gibbens, Henry, Landry, Munford Jr., Spillane, and Wilson. No players were listed as full participants that day.

The Chargers’ Thursday report lists outside linebacker Bud Dupree (hamstring), running back Omarion Hampton (ankle), wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith (hamstring), and safety Kendall Williamson (ankle) as non-participants. Defensive back Elijah Molden (hamstring), tackle Austin Deculus (oblique), and linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips (hamstring) had limited participation. Full participants included tight end Tucker Fisk (ankle), quarterback Justin Herbert (left hand), wide receiver Keenan Allen (rest), cornerback Donte Jackson (ankle), outside linebacker Khalil Mack (rest), and offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer (hamstring).

On Wednesday for the Chargers, Allen, Deculus, Dupree, Hampton, Lambert-Smith, Mack, Phillips, and Williamson did not participate. Jackson, Molden, and Salyer participated on a limited basis while Fisk and Herbert fully participated.

According to the teams’ definitions: “Did Not Participate in Practice” means a player missed all repetitions; “Limited Participation” is less than 100% of normal repetitions; “Full Participation” is all normal repetitions. Game status terms are defined as follows: “Out” indicates a player will not play; “Doubtful” means it is unlikely they will play; “Questionable” leaves uncertainty about their ability to play.
