New England Patriots sign linebacker Chad Muma from Colts’ practice squad

The New England Patriots have added linebacker Chad Muma to their roster, signing him from the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad.

Muma, 26, began his NFL career after being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wyoming. After being released by Jacksonville at the conclusion of training camp, Muma was claimed off waivers by Indianapolis. He was released by the Colts on November 1 and joined their practice squad three days later.

Over his NFL career, Muma has appeared in 55 games and started seven times. He has recorded a total of 81 tackles, one and a half sacks, and contributed 18 tackles on special teams. This season with Indianapolis, he played in five games before moving to the practice squad.
