Eastern Nazarene College reported a 2.9% tuition increase for the 2022-23 academic year, based on the most recent figures released, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students enrolled at the private, four-year nonprofit institution paid $27,990 for the 2022-23 year, an increase of $778 from the $27,212 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 42% of the undergraduate student body at Eastern Nazarene College are Massachusetts residents. Students from other states make up about 38%, while international students account for 19%.

Data indicates that every full-time undergraduate who began studies at Eastern Nazarene College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. Seventy-two students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $1.5 million, and 45 students obtained student loans exceeding $323,330.

Among all undergraduates, 405 students received grants or scholarships amounting to $8.4 million. Additionally, 239 students borrowed a combined total of $2.3 million in federal student loans.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
