On Tuesday, March 25, former Canton High School standout Mathew Pigeon’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Alexander Field. This was their first matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
