On Friday, April 11, former Canton High School standout Mathew Pigeon’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Missouri State Bears.

The game took place at Hammons Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at Hammons Field against Missouri State Bears.
